KeymasterTook some time this week to run Mana-Tombs solo on my level 79 character in the Reforged world phase, and it did not disappoint.
While this wasn’t a Heroic run, the scaling systems in Azeroth Reforged made the dungeon feel like it belonged in modern endgame content. Every pull required focus, and the boss fights carried surprising depth even without traditional heroic modifiers.
I’ve included a few screenshots below showing off the bosses and the vibe inside the dungeon. Here’s a brief breakdown of what to expect when you step inside:
Pandemonius
This void revenant opens with a shadowy brawl. His Dark Shell reflects magic damage and makes him nearly immune for a short time, forcing you to time your big spells carefully. Solo, the fight felt like a rhythm between burst windows and kiting.
A fun opener — not hard, but punishes poor timing.

Tavarok
Tavarok brings the pain with Earthquake and Crystal Prison. He’s deceptively mobile, and his stun combo can end the fight quickly if you’re not watching timers. Kiting and interrupting where possible helped keep him manageable.
Definitely the most dangerous encounter in the dungeon solo. Don’t slack.

Nexus-Prince Shaffar
A flashy finish. He summons Ethereal Beacons that can overrun you if not controlled quickly. The fight becomes an intense test of cleave, control, and movement. Positioning was everything — especially when trying to focus down the real threat.
The most chaotic of the three, but also the most fun. Big “end boss” energy even on normal.

Final Thoughts
Even without Heroic mode active, Mana-Tombs was a strong showcase for what Azeroth Reforged is aiming to deliver: relevant content across all zones, dungeons, and levels. I left with some useful gear upgrades and a fresh appreciation for this often-overlooked dungeon.
Looking forward to seeing what it feels like at 80 — especially in Heroic!
